2. Relevant Biography:
a) Please describe your relevant professional experience and expertise and explain how this background will make you an effective AC member.
I’ve been increasingly involved with ARIN since I led the Cisco’s effort to transition cisco.com to IPv6, enabling $40 billion in annual revenue. Cisco published an article discussing our large team effort and success. I’ve had the opportunity to blog for ARIN and APNIC. I’ve presented at APNIC50, Lightning Talk, IETF IPv6 Working Group, Virtual School on Internet Governance and Inside the Stack. I’ve also hosted ARIN’s first ARIN on the Road in Nevada in 2024, held in Reno. I’ve been the recipient of 2 rounds of ARIN Community Grants and an ARIN 52 Fellow.
I regularly attend ARIN policy meetings, both in person and remote, sharing live updates to our local professionals through Discord.
I’ve previously held technical roles (UNIX SA and EDI & DW data architect) which give me a balanced view of technology architecture and strategy.
I hold an MBA from Santa Clara University, ’19. I’ve also completed the Silicon Valley Executive Center’s Women Corporate Board Readiness Program, becoming the first from this program to obtain a board seat – Momentum for Health, Silicon Valley’s largest provider of mental health services.
I teach a fall business class for Western Nevada College.
I have been advocating for IPv6 transition for over a decade. I am now expanding my focus to internet policy and governance, developing relationships with state and local policy makers, as well as NV’s economic development community, ensuring internet infrastructure is scalable, resilient, accessible and properly supported by private industry and government.
